Beaches

There is a long stretch of beach on the island of the Wildwoods, and it is free to the public. From the wide expanses in the center of the island to the more narrow beaches with sand dunes on the north end, there is a patch of sand for everyone. The beach is miles long, and the sand is soft to the touch. For sunning, tanning, surfing, or swimming, the Wildwood beaches have no equal.

Boardwalk

Wildwood, NJ has 3 miles of boardwalk that feature a variety of amusements including roller coasters, games, go-carts, and water rides. You can see how fudge is made (and sample some!), buy some salt-water taffy or play games of chance. The Tramcar is a great way to get from one end to the other and you can ride bikes from 11 a.m to each morning until 12 p.m. before the Tramcar starts running. The boardwalk is now a smoke free zone. Visit Morey's Piers & Beachfront Water Park and Splash zone Interactive Water Park for more information.
