The Candlelight Inn, just three blocks from the beach, is is located in a lovely residential area of North Wildwood, NJ. It is a charming Queen Anne Victorian home that will take you back to a simpler time. The accommodations, however, will provide you with all the modern amenities that you need, including double whirlpool tubs, gas or electric fireplaces, flatscreen TVs, and wireless Internet access throughout the property.

In-season, your time at the Inn provides a peaceful rest while a variety of wonderful activities await you only minutes away. From the beach to the boardwalk with rides and attractions, to the bay with kayaking and canoeing; the Candlelight Inn is moments from where your perfect vacation begins. The beaches in the Wildwoods are wide, and the sand is soft to the touch. For sunning, tanning, surfing, or swimming on the New Jersey Shore, there is no equal. No beach tags are required.

Off-season, enjoy quiet walks along a deserted beach or on the seawall that extends along the Hereford Inlet.  Many historic attractions are open on a limited schedule throughout the year, including the Hereford Inlet and Cape May lighthouses, the newly restored WWII Tower or the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum.  Antiquing throughout the country is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon or consider strolling the shops in downtown Cape May.  One of our favorites is to visit the various wineries or the new Cape May Brewery.  They offer tastings and tours and many provide wonderful spots for picnic lunches.
